This question has knocked around over the last couple months; I have climbed bookshelves on rickety ladders to find the answer. My first authentic response is where I will plug into the station and charge it up for you. Hindsight can be so awfully crystal. So, when I realized that the clarity was coming out too clear, the false 20/20, I sat down to unravel each detail like the pages in that antique book you collect.
It all started here, with this pattern and an insatiable appetite to manifest undergear for the modern dancer. The materials had to be hearty, but not too thick, and they had to endure the bodies. The composition had to mimic sensuality with a heap of comfort around the ribcage. A slight hug from a bat's wings was the thought. So, I opened up the pattern and started to brainstorm. Just like that, one leap into the abyss and a heap of graciousness for the human body.
We no longer have the luxury of ignorance when it comes to purchasing intimate apparel. We can be part of the movement of consciousness; a sensual consciousness, because being wise is decadent. Comfort and sensuality go hand in hand. When we are comfortable with ourselves, our bodies and our nature, the veraciously orgasmic drive surrounds every move we make.
Dance Ink, a magazine of contemporary dance photography, was in print from the years 1989-1996. A quarterly that centered on the works in New York City during those years. Here is the outstanding news! The founder and publisher, Patsy Tarr, has relaunched and released Dance Ink on June 6, 2016 with Volume 8, Number 1.
For me, Weed Walk is a coined term by Susun S. Weed. When this concept was first introduced, the handbook in which the term was found prickled my heartstrings: Wise Woman Herbal, Healing Wise, by Susun S. Weed, copyright 1989.
We are beginning to give back to organizations all dear to the ethos of Under The Root. The following recipients for 5% of proceeds from sales will rotate each month.
The harder we work to connect the slow fashion movement with the spiral of community responsibility, plus, the more our clients shop online for our products; the more we are able to give.
At the beginnings of 2015, an elegant soul named Jaret Ferratusco grabbed us up and whisked away a handful of designs to join them in photographic revelry. When the images from their adventures settled in our sights, they were filled with lands where treehouses sneak back behind the branches, the sprites share tea at sundown, body movement leaks into your desires of the mind, and sighs of shadows follow the eyelashes.
Our journal since 2008, Musings, Usings, and Loose Things, was practically dripping with a deep sincerity for overhaul. It was time for change. Two years of racking the brain, shaking the tree, and tumbling over how on earth to be more transparent from behind the scenes. It has became clear that a journal for this brand, the optimal interpretation, will be best delivered in segments.
