When converting prices to another currency a slight price variation between 2 to 5 percent may occur due to fluctuating exchange rates. When an item is charged to a credit card you may be charged fees determined by your bank. The responsibility for the extra charges, if incurred, remain with the buyer. Under The Root can be purchased and shipped worldwide. Your parcel begins in Seattle, Washington, United States. The United States Postal Service takes care of the shipment for all the orders. We use the shipping address at the time of your purchase. If there is a change in the shipping address, this can be sent in an email to email@example.com or use the contact form.
The orders are handcrafted in the studio, allow 3-4 weeks for your order to reach the Post Office and underway to your door. We understand this wait may be a little longer than you are used to, our hope is that you will forgive the lengthy amount of time. You have purchased an intimate apparel design created just for you, from a modest, wakeful, independent business.
The following prices are based on USPS shipping charges plus additional handling cost from the studio. These prices are in United States Dollars.
United States Domestic Shipping
Domestic Shipping Standard: $6 for first item and $2 for each additional item
Parcels are mailed U.S. First Class Mail with USPS Tracking and usually arrive within 3 to 5 days after delivery to the Post Office. Not registered, no refund for lost orders as this is the fault of the postal service. Under The Root is not responsible for lost orders if standard mail is chosen upon checkout.

Registered and signed for on delivery. Your parcel is traceable through United States Post Office if lost in transit to you. The parcel arrives approximately 2 to 4 business days after shipping confirmation has been sent to you.
International Shipping Standard: $25 for the first item and $3 for each additional item
First Class Mail International and usually arrives 2 to 4 weeks after delivery to the United States Post Office and confirmation sent to you. A Customs Form number allows us to track your order only until it leaves the United States. Not registered, no refund for lost orders as this is the fault of the postal service. Under The Root is not responsible for lost orders if standard mail is chosen upon checkout.

International Shipping Registered Mail: Standard + $16
Your parcel is Registered and traceable through United States Post Office if lost in transit to you. The parcel arrives approximately 10 to 12 business days after shipping confirmation has been sent to you.
International Shipping Notes:
Your parcel may be held for additional customs/duty/VAT specific to your country. These fees are separate from your purchase. They are different for each country. Sometimes, this adds additional days to your shipping time.
Lost or Missing Shipments
Please note: Under The Root is not be responsible for damage or loss during shipping. The responsibility for lost, damaged, or stolen orders remain with the buyer. The upgrade to Registered Mail does offer more protection. There are no refunds if your parcel is lost, damaged, stolen, or missing once it leaves the studio and in the hands of United States Post Office and National Postal Service.

There are no options for rush orders at this time. The orders enter a queue with the handcrafted process. We appreciate all clients and uphold this fair placement.
